The usual 220V welder plug is something like a 30A small version of a clothes drier plug. 10-gauge (30A) wire at a minimum, my welder (and range, and RV, it's a triplet installation) uses 8-gauge (40A) wire. I backfeed Big Bertha through one of these plugs when I'm running the house on that generator. Poor little 140A generator is limited to a 40A feed! -- Jim _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
