Andrew, I think you will find, that there is very little that you cannot do if 
you just decide to go ahead. Man has
invented all sorts of things to permit him to do things that he could not do - 
levers, pulleys etc. If it is
something that you want to do and do not want to afford to hire someone else to 
do, then forge ahead. Just be smart
and a bit careful and don't hurt yourself. Beyond that caveat, there is little 
reason why you cannot rent a truck
and some sort of machine to lift and load, and haul away almost anything.
