A friend of mine bought a new flex fuel Silverado. Last I talked to him, he had not run E85 in it but he assured me it would only cost drop his fuel economy by one mpg or so. I think he'd dreaming (or a salesman said what he wanted to hear) and the real loss will be around 1/3.
