If the ends of one of the "C-looking" clamps or clips built into the blade
holder are in the short little slots about 1/4 inch from the closed end of
the lower or inner groove, that should be sufficient to counteract the
centrifugal force and keep the blade in place. The short slots are only
about 1/8 inch long. 'May need to crimp or squeeze the "C" clip inward
toward the rubber just a little to make sure it's well-engaged in the
little
slots.
The upper/outer groove has a small, short ridge inside it also near the
closed end of the blade. This short ridge fits in a notch in the
stainless
strip to hold the strip in place. 'Should be OK with closed end of the
blade inward or outward. The "C" clip keeps the blade from slinging
outward, and the little ridges in the little notches keep the stainless
strips in place.
