QUite right. I was talking about a probably 75 454. I am sure they get a little better mileage now, but back then nobody but an arab prince could afford to feed them.

He didn't say 'good 454'. He was talking about a 454 seen in 1979, probably stock, and probably made in the last half of the 1970's. Do you remember how crappy most cars ran from around 1975 to the age of fuel injection?
