Have you used any HF sockets or wrenches lately? About all my sockets and my
metric wrench set are all HF. To get the caliper bolts off I put my 19mm wrench
on and wail on it with a 3# hammer. Its not bent or messed up in any way that I
can tell...

The sockets are thicker than my craftsman ones but seem just as strong if not
stronger. I pull the wheels with a regular socket in my 24v cordless impact
wrench, haven't hurt the socket yet that I can detect, its still tight on the
lug bolts.

Save yourself some trouble by doing all the work in HF's parking lot,
that way the sockets that you break with the breaker bar can be
instantly replaced under warranty.  :)
