So what all parts do I need to order? Just the carrier bearing?

BTDT. Remove the 2 bolts, and the DL. Take a puller to the bearing, drive a new bearing in place, form fit the new bearing carrier in place, put a new seal sleve on. Reinstall D/L. Simple, go to it ya lazy bum. I'm stuck inside now, rain chased me in....

Had everything apart today to replace the cracked back plate on the
tranny on my 81 wagon and noticed alot of play in the driveshaft
support. Looks like the rubber is pretty much shot. How does this come
apart? Just upscrew the 2 bolts and the carrier slides out from the end
or what? Any tips would be helpful.

Thanks
