I didn't realize until I looked at the Wikipedia page that was one of the FWD Caddys. I bet it feels just like your Buick only bigger. Is the V-8 longitudinal, like its distant ancestor, the '66 Toronado, or transverse like in the Northstar cars? I guess it probably does not have enough grunt to worry about torque steer regardless. If I wanted something big and comfy for the price you paid I would have bought the same vintage Lexus or Infiniti. They are all over the place around here, especially the Q45s. Probably crawling with electrical gremlins, though.
