Hydrak was not a slushbox. Hydrak is an automatic clutch and gear
shift on a manual transmission.
Elegant in concept, but problematic in operation because if the many
adjustments that cascade effects.

Didn't Mercedes make a similar transmission in the 50s, known as the Hydrak?
