When I left for work this morning, outside air temp was -8F. Because my garage is insulated, the temp gauge in my 300E said +28F when I started the car.
On my one mile drive to work, kept hearing this rapid snap, crackle & pop from the car roof. Almost like someone was eating Rice Crispies up there. The water droplets (garage must have actually been warmer than +28F) on my car instantly freezing and expanding as I motored on down the snow-covered highway.
