They've even talked about dropping the whole wind chill thing here, but I
think it gives bragging rights.  If someone says it's cold where they are,
we can always throw in the "wind chill".  Makes us seem a bit tougher. lol.


The wind can blow as hard as it likes, it doesn't make the temp any colder.
It might blow the heat off your skin a bit quicker, but as metal doesn't
product any heat, it doesn't have any heat to blow off.

Makes about as much sense as putting a blanket on your car to keep it warm.
Unlike a human, there's no heat being produced to keep in.  Ask any doctor,
when he pulls a blanket off a dead guy, how warm is he?

Wind chill or not, I just got in and it's damn cold, so I'm off to put the
kettle on! :-)
