USAA paid for replacement of a pitted windshield for me too. I told them it was unsafe in rain, at night and driving into the sun. Present policy has clause for no deductible on windshield replacement...... Check your policy - Part D Physical Damage Coverage - mine reads "Full Safety Glass Cov" INCL
May not apply if you don't carry Comp/Collision Coverage.
