LOL. I had a full-height surplus 2GB SCSI drive that I found in the trash at work duct-taped to the top of my Mac Quadra years ago. At the time I was running Debian Linux. That drive took so long to spin up on a cold boot that I usually had to do a warm reboot to get it recognized.
