This does not change my argument or the point I was trying to make. I can almost guarantee that the bonus plan was a CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT between the Company and those receiving bonuses. And legally, they may have had no choice but to pay the bonuses providing the ones receiving the bonuses lived up to their end of the deal - they met their goals.
