Greetings and Salutations, All.
In the mid 60's in the UK, as a present to my hardworking Mom, I bought a washing machine that heated the water, washed and spun the clothes before drying them. It was a well made Italian machine, fairly large, not working or I couldn't have afforded it, and lasted her 'til her death, about 15 years later. The machine was pre-computer-in-everything and needed the gi-normous rotary switch replaced, supplied by the sellers. My cousins scavenged everything not nailed down after the funeral, so it may still be extant somewhere in Kent!
I do ramble on, don't I?

Those were around 40-50 years ago. My dad bought a used one when I was a kid. I think it was broke more than it ran. Kinda like a 70s Harley or an english sports car. It was FULL size, not for a camper.
