<grin> No problem.  I saw that diagnosis on a website somewhere, once,
for GM car...it stuck in my mind mostly because it seemed like kind of a
poor design.  If the bulb is burned out, the alternator doesn't work,
but you don't know it's not working because the bulb can't light up. ;)
 It's the simplest (and cheapest) way to do it, though, so it turns out
most cars are wired that way.
