I have one I used, tried at some point to copy files over to a hard drive, and Winders kept hanging up on some file that it didn't like (wasn't corrupted, just didn't like transferring the particular file) so the whole process crashed after like 15 min of grinding away and no idea which files moved over and which didn't, only that it crashed at one particular file after some lengthy time. I hate Windows.

i think the days of zip drive are pretty much done

Did anyone ever really *use* them? I remember a year or two where most
PCs had a Zip drive but I can never recall anyone I know ever using
them. I do recall many of them being plagued with problems, eating
disks or refusing to eject them, etc.
