That's the 1st MB I've heard of or see with a falling headliner. Even
the ones in my 69 280 and 73 280SE 4.5 had perfect headliners. I don't
think they were particularly well cared for.
You also mentioned the clear coat - my '91 300 D has clear coat problems
also -
I guess MB is doing something differently - ;-p
