Finally ran the VIN in the EPC and data card shows ASD. Guess I have a whole new system to learn!

It eases up on the throttle and applies the brake to the spinning wheel if necessary. It did not appear on diesels until they used the electronically controlled injection pump. I'm thinking that was 1999? Maybe 1998?
