Many states mandate the crap.
And, unfortunately, Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana don't require disclosure of
alcohol content at the pump, so the only ways for me to buy alcohol free fuel
are to buy avgas at the airport, or test pump gas until I find some without
alcohol.
