'Thought soon after I sent that post that it may be referring to a
cigarette, but though I've helped grow it, prepare it for market and endured
smoker's second hand crap all of my life in homes, cars Air Force
classrooms, briefing rooms, alert facilities and airplanes, I'm happy to see
that there really are a few things I don't know about tobacco and smoking.

"To light a fag" is to take some shredded tobacco product, surround it
with a thin paper tube, put it between your lips and set fire to it!
A "fag" in public school ( read: expensive private school) is an unpaid
junior classman servant and gopher(?).
The two are unrelated.
