He wouldn't let that fly so I just as quickly took another direction and told him I was actually towing an MG B. That (surprisingly) flew just fine.
Reminds me of the time my Camaro spun a bearing 100 miles from home. I tried to rent a dolly to go get it. No soap, 'too far'.
