Make them???? Surely you jest! I was figuring to commission Rolf to enlist the services of his crochet shop manager. As to the highway speed, I have had the 300D up to 85mph, ... and it still had some more... but I never really wanted to push it past that... it's only 83 horses, or so I think, and nearly 35 years old now. I didn't want to tempt fate. BTW, I just dropped it off at a local MB mechanic who works out of his house... to hopefully get his insight and expertise to address the oil consumption issue. Recommended by a W123 fella I know..... good W115 guys are few and far between these days. My previous guy is down after having a stroke.
