negative sir, have not topped the CD out...it pins out at 85. The SD,
OTOH, reads to 120, and will almost make that. Top speed around 115 (so
far....).
Kaleb, and yes, by definition, that makes me a reckless driver. I've only
had the SD above 100 2 or 3 times (1 time in southern Missour...pulled
over by a state trooper.....).
Now both of you, think about the design ideas that MB was using. I have 1
word for you.... AUTOBAN. Cars designed to be happy at 100+mph, just ask
Dr. Marshall. Eh?

Top speed on the 87 300TD is 123mph and I EASILY hit
100 the other day. The SD was screaming across Texas
and I only got to 99mph b4 a big truck wouldn't move
out of the way.
