I've always had tinnitus, didn't know there was a name for it until fairly
recently when I saw (or heard anyway) a commercial where they recreated it...
It doesn't bother me all that much but when its something you've always had...
I just assumed thats what the world sounded like.

PLEASE
wear hearing protection when you are doing anything that is noisy
(mowing the lawn, target practice, operating a chainsaw, ect.) I have
PERMANENT hearing loss and tinnitus in both my hears from such stupidity when I
was younger. I would not wish this on my worst enemy.
