Don't get me wrong... I drive my cars quite a bit, at least as my personal time permits. But I'm moving toward proper storage, especially for the winter. Less abuse, and long-term ownership. And, only performing repairs with top-quality parts. Don't worry... there will be lots of parts purchased for my cars in the future!
I don't believe in leaving cars parked for the sake of preserving them either. But there is alot you can do to keep their lives useful for a long time. 20 years from now, any W116 will be a very rare car, and nice original W123s will be very difficult to come by. I plan to be prepared.
