That spare tank was a jerry can, wasn't it?
Seems like somebody made a 35 or 38 gallon replacement for the factory tank, but that probably went off the market about the same time as the cars. 8 years ago I can remember somebody trying to sell me a 123 or 116 with a huge tank like that. I wanted the tank more than I wanted the rest of the car.
