If the front subframe mounts are loose, will that change the
alignment as the subframe changes angle in reference to the road? I
put new links on last year, but it has been squirrely ever since.
(But not as bad as before) It seems to me that because all the links
attach to the subframe, that the geometry should stay the same. Most
of the time it is ok, but if you take your eyes off the road for a
sec , it decides to steer with the rear axle, and you are drifting
right or left.
The front mounts are clearly busted, as the rubber has polished the
bolted in center from moving up and down. Replacing the mounts is
next, but I am trying to figure out if I am missing something else.
This behavior may be caused by bad subframe mounts, but Is there
something else I might be missing?
