that I bought when it was on a good sale (it was about $100 off the
price currently listed).  I bought it because the garage already had a
220 outlet and I thought it would be better to have a higher power unit.

It only has 4 power settings (selected in binary with two toggle
switches on the front panel) and I find that even on the lowest setting
it will blow holes in thin sheet metal but I've successfully repaired
several things with it that would have cost much more than the price of
the welder to replace, so I'm reasonably happy with it.
