The first time I even thought about the SDL alarm was when it went off in a large hospital parking lot. I had no idea how to make the horn stop blowing so I drove out hoping it was timed to quit within a year or so.
This is the "WHY" part. I drove right by three uniformed security guards that were directing traffic and they all smiled and shook their heads. I suppose a thief would get the same response.
