I contracted avery bad case of cellulitis on 4/10/2009 and was admitted to Saint Joseph's hospital here in Atlanta. On the 11th it had spread into my blood system and I spent the next 8 days ICU on a ventillator. The tube was removed on the 20th but I remained in ICU trying to get the infection controlled. On the evening of the 23rd I flatlined and my wife was called to come directly to ICU. Luckily I survived and have quite some life changes ahead of me. Thanks too all that sent words of in couragement. One of my favorite places for sea food is Hyman's on Meeting street; reasonable prices and the sea food is generally very fresh. First time you go, tell them you are a local and want a VIP card, and then you get 'head of the line' privileges when all the tourists have flooded the place. Downtown I also like Moe's for burritos. On Sunday a.m. a place call Saffron on East Bay St. has a really nice brunch buffet, mix of local and Mediterranean food. Beyond that, I'd recommend he take this opportunity to explore local cuisine by asking some of the female students at C of C or MUSC for their advice, and I'll bet he'll enjoy their recommendations a LOT more than mine... Walk toward the King St area and he'll pass through neighborhoods were lots of college kids live. -Max -----Original Message----- From: mercedes-boun...@okiebenz.com [mailto:mercedes-boun...@okiebenz.com] On Behalf Of Greg Fiorentino Sent: Monday, April 26, 2010 7:59 PM To: 'Mercedes Discussion List' Subject: [MBZ] OT: Charleston area Restaurants?
