I did that on my old toyota Crown -- driving home late one night the
broken water pump shaft worked out of the bearing and the clutch and
fan flew into the radiator. Cut all the way through, so I was out a
new water pump AND a new core, in the middle of the winter when it
was 4 below zero F.
Fix it before it comes off!
