driven by the remaining disc without anything to keep the disconnected
end on-center...
There is a photo on the net someplace showing the results of neglecting
this item which included among other things, the floor torn out. Ignore
this at
your peril.

How do you test flex discs in the car? I've seen a defective flex disc out
of a car which looked okay until it was twisted in a vise.
