Did they put the eco-diesel in the Golf? Much as I like the Rabbit the diesel version is pretty pokey, if the Golf got a turbo in ~1990 I'd be real interested. Surprisngly the Golf doesn't get much better mileage than the Jetta and the Jetta not that much better than the Quantum/Passat....
