:-)

She is doing well. She loves her new little sister (arrived Saturday morning
at 2:42 AM), Anneliese. She is climbing trees and being inquisitive and
independent. When working on the AKP-Wagen, Mary, the eldest, did NOT like it.
Kate was much more interested and cooperative and we got it going again. She's
a trooper, UNLESS she's faced with a dog...as we know from the OkieQ.

P.S. Please spare me the "two words" (prom, college) this time...maybe you
can work up a congratulations...?... :-)...but knowing you, you'll come up
with two new words...

P.P.S. GERMAN CONTENT: new baby's middle name is "Kunigunde"...that makes
three on the German side of the family. The first immigrated in 1902 from the
Fatherland the second is still living (but old), so we continue the tradition.

My gramma had a cousin named Mercedes (also German side)...don't know if the
wife would go for that. They pronounced it mer-said-is - don't know if that is
"correct." Liesel is a popular girls name in Germany:

  Liesel Mercedes McCann

That't too much even for me!...I think...

  Take Care!

Ooops - typo there. The naming convention was changed in 1994 in the
USA. From 1994 up, the letter indicates the body size/type (E=3D midsize
sedan, SL=3D midsize roadster, etc) and the 3 numbers indicate the
engine displacement (320 =3D 3.2L, etc). If the number is 2 digits, it
is a high-performance AMG model with a hand-built engine. This held
true from 1994 through about 2002, when MB stupidly started having
some numbers not match engine displacement... I've not seen this a
lot, but it does exist (like a new C230 not having a 2.3L or
whatever).

But up to 1993, the naming convention was a complete disaster.

=3D)
