Yup, goes in from the bottom. Make sure the hole in the frame is clean -- chunks of old rubber in there WILL prevent the new mount from going in, believe me, I've tried.

If possible, you should press in on the metal rim of the subframe mount, not the center portion, that way you won't tear it, and you will be applying pressure directly on the seating portion. If you have nothing else, a big washer on top will work using the old lower retainer plate and some all-thread. The mount should go in pretty easy with a puller, if not make SURE you have the correct one for your chassis.

Make sure they are right way 'round, I seem to remember that they are not circular, and the "tabs" go fore and aft, not to the side.

Good luck -- I'm planning on doing this job on my 300D very soon, hopefully before this coming Thanksgiving where I have to make a 600 mile trip!
