My 1972 Olds 98 got 12 MPG in town and 19 MPG on the highway. The secret is that they had a very efficient TurboHydromatic 400 transmission. The transmission was 99% efficient in high gear.

My brother had one, either a '72 or '73, with 455 4bbl. One 0-60 run would drop the fuel gauge about one needle width. I believe it got over 15mpg on the highway though. Must have had a tall final drive. _______________________________________ For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://striplin.net/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_striplin.net
