Hmmm, that is the reason I owned a '76 Dasher wagon, a '75 Nova, an
'84 diesel chevyvan - all of which rusted in the midwest, but were
surviving well while they lived in CSpgs.  And my first W123 is, RIP,
rusted also.
No, I don't own a car for beauty or pleasure - a car is purely
utilitarian.  Gotta get from point A to point B reliably and cost
within the amount of cash on hand.  Simple choices are made within
those parameters, and I finally ended at the W123 - hooray.  With a
foray in to W116 diesel - wonderful car still alive in Hotlanta.
