True, but that of course depends on what OS you want to virtualize. I get along fine by running W2K under VMWare; it's happy with only 512 Mb. But then I'm only using it to run Office 2003, which doesn't need XP. Rich, does the software you want to run really require XP? Legit boxed copies of W2K are available on fleaBay for less than $100.
