Congratulations on your new purchase! I've admired your buying and selling
strategy since I joined the Mercedes list, so now that I have room in the
budget, I decided to do a similar business with rC cars and trucks. I've
started buying up some fixer uppers since I enjoy rebuilding them and tuning
them up to run in top form. I can fix and drive many different ones for
much less than buying them new (in most cases), and I can at least pay the
bills and keep the funds flowing by putting most of them up for sale. , .
I found a pretty good package deal on two running cars, one complete
basketcase to either rebuild or use as a parts donor for the other one, a
gallon of nitro fuel, a 4 drawer top box full of parts and accessories and
extra electronics. At $350, it cost me less than any one of them would have
cost new. My ad for dead or dying rC's is doing quite well, call me the RC
version of K'Leb!
