The Enhanced Fujita scale sets an EF4 tornado at approx 400-900 meters wide. An EF5 is approx 1100m +, or about 3/4mi. A tornado wider than a mile is extremely rare and I would venture to say that 5mi wide tornados are unheard of and maybe physically impossible.
