Here is a link to an image of a cluster puller made out of a piece of coat hanger:
http://gallery.me.com/dpenoff#100286/hooktool&bgcolor=black Stick this in between the cluster and the dash, rotate to "engage" the hook, and pull. You may have to alternate this from one side to another to get the cluster out if it's really tight.
