I agree with you, Max!  I'd be interested in a package to mate a manual
trans to a OM60x engine!

But I'd still perfer a 5 speed... and one that allows the use of an original
Mercedes shifter.  I like things to look original!

In my experience, the hard part is getting the right flywheel and
driveshaft.  Transmissions, shifters, and linkage are pretty easy to find
from junk yards, parts cars, etc.
