Well I finally got the chinese SDS system working. I ended up having to run it from a IBM x40 that has a docking station with a real serial port. With the other computers I was trying it I was using the PCI card serial port thing they sent, I guess that was the problem. It connected to the car with no problem after that and I was able to clear the tranny codes after replacing the conductor plate. Drove the car to town, drives GREAT. Man its a great running machine. I think Im going to take it to Maine thursday. We driving about 3600 miles round trip on vacation to Maine and was going to take the 99 E320, but really wanted to take this. Will drive it all week up till time to leave to make sure no other problems pop up. Maybe I am brave to take a car that I will have only drove personally for a few days.

The only other remaining problem I have is the vacuum pump is dead (the electric one under the back seat). I already knew about this as the locks do not work. Also, the ACC is in default defrost mode. After much research I discovered that the electric pump under the seat also controls the ACC. I did have one of the small wires broke off at one of the connectors, so I took the connector apart and I think I might have it reattached. Pulled the pump out and took it apart and it looks like parts of the board are burned. Guess I need a new one. Anyone revived one of these things? I think in the 210 they are a special deal, not like the old cars. They have to be programmed with the SDS system if I am not mistaken. I would pull the one out of the wrecked 99 E430 but its got a different part number and I doubt it would work. I attached some photos of the pump board
