I don't recall if it was San Francisco but one of the California cities or counties passed a law that said all grease disposal had to go through the city and their idea was to make it into biodiesel for the city buses and trucks. Sort of an underhanded tax as they were taking something the restaurants could previously sell and taking it for their own use.
