Rode the metro down, first stop was the archives got in but line to the rotunda looked like was hours long so gave up. Went thru the natural history museum, then walked down to the white house. I had checked obambo schedule just to see if I could see anything and he was leaving for camp David at 3:50 so we hung out for a few minutes at the fence of the south lawn and sure enough I saw them rolling out the round red deals for the chopper, about that time they kicked everyone out of the area and we had to move way back to that field between the white house and Washington monument. Even though I can't stand obambo it was cool to see the chopper fly in and out of there. After that walked down to the air and space museum then toward the capital. Very worn out. Would have liked to seen the Lincoln memorial and that stuff on that side. Maybe on the way out of town we can drive down there any maybe find a parking spot close to those
