Back when Ferret Instruments was here in Michigan, I bought their clamp on piezo device. Couldn't trigger it with my fine running but old 300SD. They sent me a more sensitive prototype to try, but that didn't do it either. I concluded that either my injectors were popping at a low pressure (but probably still a higher pressure than new non-turbo injectors) or the lines were too thick. The 5mm lines on the 60x engines are more failure prone, maybe they'd expand more than the 6mm lines on the 617.
