You get fuel (or diesel purge) enough to start it, but not a continuous flow to keep it running?
I'm thinking, get a 5' chunk of clear vinyl hose, probably 1/4" ID, stick it on the outlet of the clear filter, suck it full of diesel, drop the end in a 5 gallon can, and see if you can siphon the can full with a good flow of airless fuel. Then you'll know if your problem is underhood or elsewhere.
