Probably a dumb question but how would I do that?  Just poke a chunk
of rebar or similar through it to break up the internals?

I don't want to make the car any louder if I can help it.  I wonder
what would happen if the front cat were replaced by an aftermarket
muffler small enough to fit?

The turbo spins OK when I take the intake plumbing off the front and
reach inside.  How would I check the wastegate arm?
