I stand corrected.
First diesel. 1972 220D sedan 4 speed, bought in 1978 for 300 dollars.
About all I could afford during my divorce.
Cam towers were cracked, so needed strengthened cam towers and longer
bolts, plus one injector and the little plastic buttons in the horn
ring. Beeped in corners.
Served me well.
